About Self Made

Self Made Diesel Performance was started in 2019 in an at home single car garage in Concord CA with the idea of building and improving diesel trucks. Owner and lead mechanic Aaron Blair designed Self Made Diesels with one thing in mind...a tough 'n loud diesel built with dirty hands and hard work. Following the footsteps of his grandfather and uncle in the automotive industry, this business was created by a blue collar worker with a passion for diesel performance. From the start, this company has been about upgrading stock diesel trucks to be faster, louder, and stronger.

Aaron's first diesel project was upgrading a factory built 2006 Ford F250 6 liter. Since then his interests have expanded to include other repair and diagnostics, performance modifications, and show truck designs.
